San Diego police have identified the woman found dead last week in a Rancho Peñasquitos condominium as 45-year-old Nahal Connie Dadkhah.
Dadkhah was found Wednesday morning inside a condominium on Twin Trails Drive just east of Black Mountain Road. Police said she was “obviously deceased” and had signs of trauma to her upper body.
Officers arrested a man at the scene who they identified as 43-year-old Parrish Juan Chambers. He was booked into jail on suspicion of murder.
Police have not released any information about the relationship between the victim and the suspect.
The night before Dadkhah’s body was found, neighbors had called police to report a disturbance involving Chambers at the condo. Officers made numerous attempts to contact Chambers and anyone inside the apartment, but received no response. Because they were unable to confirm a crime had occurred, they left, police homicide Lt. Steve Shebloski said.
No other information about the incident was immediately released.
Anyone with information about the incident were asked to call the homicide unit at (619) 531-2293 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
