A memorial is growing in front of the Casselberry apartment unit where a triple homicide and suicide took place early Tuesday morning. Relatives of the victims say they’re not shocked by what happened as the gunman started to show behavioral signs of being erratic. Ellamin Albornoz, a close relative of the victims, shared a photo with WESH 2 News of who she says are the victims, not including the gunman: Albornoz said the suspect wouldn’t let them go anywhere. The gunman claimed the life of his wife, her 15-year-old son and his mother-in-law before turning the gun on himself.”We are clueless as to why this incident happened. We don’t have a history of violence with these individuals,” Casselberry police Chief Larry D. Had he made any threats? Even as much as had she even seen the firearm? She had not been a victim, he had not made any threats, she had never even seen the firearm,” Krantz said.Family described the gunman as possessive and jealous, and in the last few days, he seemed desperate after his wife tried to get her husband to leave. Albornoz said her son told the woman to get out of there because β€œel te va a matar,” which means β€œhe is going to kill you.”A neighbor of the victims cried, saying there is too much killing in this world. She said you never know what the person next to you is going through.Family members describe the 15-year-old boy who died as loving, obedient and respectful. Krantz said the suspect recently purchased the firearm this month, and there is a rumor that he bought the gun because he wanted it for protection in the light of recent school shootings.
