The Hamilton Fire Department rescued two people trapped on dangerous terrain at Tew’s Falls Thursday evening.
The fire department says it was called to a rope rescue at the park off Harvest Road shortly after 5:30 p.m. June 16.
Dispatch was able to find the co-ordinates using the caller’s cellphone and directed crews to where the two people were trapped, the fire department said in an email.
No one was hurt.
Firefighters conducted a rope rescue to bring both people safely to the surface. A drone was used during the operation.
